Description
The FN-DAC Digital Alarm Communicator reports Alarm, Trouble, Supervisory and other system events using PSTN telephone lines. Events are reported to a compatible central station monitoring receiver. The communicator may be configured to report by zone or by address (point). The FN-DAC is installed in the FireNET enclosure, or may alternately be installed in the FN-LCD-N network annunciator. The FN-DAC receives data and power from the FireNET panel, or power may be provided by a UL listed 24 VDC regulated power supply. Events from one or more networked panels may be reported using just one FN-DAC communicator. The FN-DAC contains a built-in modem which allows a remote user to connect to the panel(s) to view current status, panel event history and sensor analog values. Panel programming data may also be copied or sent to one or more network panels.
